On October 3, 2024, the fourth day of the show, the Forces Armées Royales captivate visitors’ attention. Through musical parades and fascinating exhibitions, they celebrate their centuries-old relationship with the horse, an essential symbol of Morocco’s history.

Enchanting Musical Parades

The Forces Armées Royales military bands animate the show with impressive parades. Each faction, from the Auxiliary Forces to the Royal Gendarmerie, marches in their finest parade attire. Their flawless synchronization conquers the spectators, who cheer at each passing. Military melodies, full of symbolism, resonate throughout the show, creating both a solemn and festive atmosphere.

Exhibitions Rich in Equestrian History

The Forces Armées Royales pavilions offer an immersive journey into the horse’s centuries-old history in Morocco. Rarely seen cultural and military treasures are on display, retracing the horse’s role in battles and daily life within the Armed Forces.

The exhibition also highlights the interest the Alaouite dynasty has taken in the horse, turning it into a symbol of power and national pride. The beautifully arranged stands show how the horse has been a key element in military campaigns, royal traditions, and diplomatic practices, reinforcing its status in Moroccan culture and history.

During my visit, it became clear that the horse is much more than just an animal for the Forces Armées Royales. It is a loyal companion, a symbol of pride, bravery, and courage. Every piece displayed reflects the respect and deep affection that His Majesty the King, the Forces Armées Royales, and the Moroccan people have for the horse – a silent hero that embodies Morocco’s core values: honor, strength, and loyalty.

The participation of the Forces Armées Royales in the El Jadida Horse Show 2024 is a vibrant tribute to Morocco’s equestrian tradition. Visitors, including myself, are warmly welcomed by young officers eager to share their knowledge and passion. The beauty of the exhibitions, combined with the grandeur of the parades, offers an unforgettable experience.

The Royal Guard Pavilion

The Royal Guard Pavilion is a true tribute to Morocco’s equestrian heritage. Inside, visitors can admire the sumptuous parade uniforms, reflecting the grandeur and refinement of the royal cavalry. Various riders’ outfits, each adorned with exquisite details, showcase the richness of military traditions. The saddles and harnesses, carefully displayed, reveal exceptional craftsmanship, featuring beautifully decorated and embroidered leather goods that highlight the skill and artistry of the royal cavalry.

On the Tbourida esplanade

Elite sorbas representing each region of the Kingdom deliver daily high-level performances.

Visitors can also enjoy national and international equestrian shows in the presentation arenas, as well as in a village dedicated to children.

The Children’s Village

The Children’s Village is a space dedicated to the youngest visitors. Through fun and educational activities such as drawing workshops and introductory horse-riding sessions, children get to explore the world of horses. Supervised by professionals, they have fun while learning. This village is a place for both entertainment and learning, offering an unforgettable experience for the little ones.

The cultural aspect receives special attention, illustrated by the setup of an art and culture village and the organization of cultural and scientific conferences.

On this third day of the show, the Forces Armées Royales make the hearts of visitors beat faster by highlighting the historical bond between Morocco, its army, and the horse. The equestrian heritage, passed down from generation to generation, remains alive. This show allows everyone to absorb it.
